5 Stars Worked like a charm
I had smoked for five years (which isn’t that long, but addiction is addiction) and was up to a half a pack a day. Every time I tried to quit, it was such a horrible experience that one or two days later I was back smoking again. I bought this Smoke Deter product because it came highly recommended on the internet. I couldn’t find a single bad reivew. I smoked my very last cigarette and was very nervous about what the next day had to offer. I decided to try the liquid that night, just to taste it. I was already craving a cigarette and it seemed like the minute the liquid hit my tongue I just didn’t care about smoking anymore. It was like I forgot that I was addicted. I used the liquid as directed for the first week. Then the following week I only used it when the cravings got really bad. The third week I wasn’t using it anymore. I now have almost a whole bottle of this liquid left and I still don’t want or care about cigarettes anymore. These pills do sort of work, if you’re willing to commit. Unfortunately, there isn’t enough information (check that – ANY information) regarding the product. It vaguely suggests you take it 3 times a day, 2 pills at a time, but there’s nothing else in there at all. Well, I went ahead smoking as usual the whole time, but after a few weeks, noticed that I wanted to smoke less and less. Never made me feel nauseous, it just wasn’t something I wanted to do. This is strange, since I’ve been smoking since I was 15 so it’s a pretty big part of my life. I had gotten down to about 5 cigarettes a day when I ran out of pills, and shortly after running out, I’m back to almost a pack a day. I don’t know how long you’re supposed to take them before you’re in the clear, but I obviously didn’t take them long enough. They’re just so expensive. Still, I suppose the cost is not as important as the benefits, which greatly outweigh the cost.

4 Stars Still in the middle of quitting but these actually seem to work
I went through a box of these in my quest to quit. And I was surprised that they actually DO prevent you from that “need.” When I got to the point in my day where I generally smoked – I’d just think to myself, do I need it now? And discovered I didn’t. For about 2 weeks I didn’t smoke at all. Then I switched brands and discovered that all patches are not made equal. So next week I’m going to seek these back out to finish my initial plan of quitting.

The negatives – these patches are clear, and rather large – and they itch like crazy. They also leave a large rectangle of goop on your skin that you have to scrub like heck to get off. But – they work. You can’t argue with that.

The price will also make many balk – but if you do the math – a box of 21 should last you 3 weeks, and if you smoke a carton a week then you’re actualy saving money, even if you have to live on the patch the rest of your life (kidding). If you want to smoke give this a try.

the very first time i used the patches, it was my fault i didnt let them work. YOU CANNOT SMOKE AT ALL WHEN ON THESE PATCHES or they will not work! thats why i had to buy them twice. but im on the same box for the second time, and i have not smoked in 2 days. i have only been smoking for about 3 years, but i have so much to deal with that i smoked a pack every 2 days and im 19. i am so happy now cause i finally quit. these work if you let them, the first time is the hardest WITHOUT patches, but if you wear the patch, you will feel less tense. after the first day, you have more of a free feeling.

I was a smoker for over 10 years. I purchased this when I wanted to quit smoking and it worked so well. I have now been a non smoker for 2 years. I followed the plan and set a date.I told as many people as I could so that every time I wanted to cave in to a craving I would know I would have to face all those people and tell them I had failed. I also bought cinniman sticks. You can suck on them and they are the shape of a ciggarette and the taste of the cinniman is soothing and gets you through those tough cravings. One thing to remind yourself is that by giving in your cravings you go back to the startline , So wether you have one hr or two weeks under your belt try to tough it out keep that time under your belt its very dicouraging to have to start from scratch. If it does happen though just pick yourself up and start again. It feels really good to be a nosmoker, I never want to be smoker again.

5 Stars My mom quit after 40 years and I quit after 15 years of smoking
My mother and I used the original LifeSigns product in 1989. She used the first cycle. She was smoking 3 to 4 packs of cigarettes a day when she quit. I used the second cycle and I was smoking 1.5 to 2 packs a day. She remained smoke free until her death in 2001. I think quitting added a few extra years to her life. I remain smoke free and now hate the smell of cigarettes. I wish I had never started. Unfortunately, I gained more than 5 lbs. after quitting. I recommend that anyone using this product have a good diet plan in place before quitting. Quitting was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done but I really feel that I did the right thing. I highly recommend this product.

This product works as advertised and will work for some smokers. However, I found it difficult to stay with the program. You still have to have the drive, motivation, and desire to quit by following the program. My Doctor advised me I had three weeks to quit smoking and quit caffiene! I ended up retiring the device and used Nicotine Snus to quit.

Cons: The alarm notification needs to be much louder or must be clipped to your belt loop so you can hear when it’s time to smoke. If you cheat too much, the device starts your next day at the previous level.

I used the product 7 months ago and it worked. You have to be serious and follow the program outlined in the kit very closely to work. I found out about the system from an online article about natural methods of quitting and strongly recommend this if not the product rated barely better than this. I was a smoker for 34 years with up to 4 packs a day at times and I was still able to be clean using this system in 40 days. Of course, my wife was a strong support system that helped me from cheating on the program which is stongly recommended for those looking to quit.
